PENINSULA PLAYERS — THE CHALLENGE: Nationally respected as America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre, Peninsula Players required promotional and on-site materials capable of honoring the organization’s historic legacy while maintaining contemporary appeal for modern audiences. Communications needed to balance artistic sophistication, institutional tradition, and seasonal audience engagement. — APPROACH: I combined elegant typography, expressive imagery, and refined visual hierarchy to create stand-out marketing and communication materials to support the theatre’s seasonal productions and audience communications across print and marketing applications. The work supported audience engagement while reinforcing the organization’s artistic identity and professional esteem. A signature project included the design of a commemorative keepsake playbill for Peninsula Players Theatre’s 65th anniversary season, celebrating the institution’s longstanding cultural legacy while creating a polished and collectible audience momento. — IMPACT: The materials strengthened visual consistency across productions and promotional campaigns while supporting a more refined and recognizable audience experience. The polished, cohesive, and contemporary visual presence felt fresh and engaging while remaining aligned with the tradition, artistic excellence, and cultural prestige for which the company had long been known.
