MILWAUKEE COUNTY NETWORK RESOURCE GROUPS — THE CHALLENGE: Milwaukee County’s employee network resource groups required a cohesive identity system capable of supporting inclusion initiatives while allowing each group to maintain a distinct voice and sense of community. The challenge was to create a unified visual framework that reflected broader organizational values while still feeling personalized and meaningful to each individual group. — APPROACH: Working collaboratively with each employee stakeholder group while serving as lead concept developer and designer, I created a flexible identity system rooted in Milwaukee County’s strategic framework and organizational values. Though visually simple and approachable, the logo system was built upon symbolic triangular forms representing interconnected strategic priorities and foundational institutional goals. These shared visual elements were thoughtfully reconfigured within each identity to create logos that felt cohesive across the system while still appearing unique, recognizable, and individually meaningful to each group. — IMPACT: The resulting identity system strengthened visual consistency and recognition across Milwaukee County’s employee affinity groups while supporting broader organizational goals around inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement. The work created a modern and scalable visual framework that reinforced shared institutional values while allowing each group to maintain a distinct and authentic community presence.
